This quilt has been submitted for jurying in a National Exhibit. Jury results late in April, 2023. If accepted for exhibit the work will be available to ship to purchaser approximately June 15, 2023.

Hot sun. Salty skin. Cool water against your feet. And ice cold ice cream. Components of an innocent Florida memory.

Hand printed (monotypes and relief prints) with acrylic paint on sheer fabrics and muslin, collaged and stitch construction, with machine stitched details. Finishing: bound fabric-backed. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation. All collaging is with archival matte acrylic medium, which is also used over the surface.

“Two Orange Creamsicles, Please” exhibited in in Floridian Flavors, a Florida-region SAQA exhibit in Tarpon Springs in 2020 and in Stuart, Florida in 2021.
