This artwork is being submitted for juryiing to a traveling regional exhibit. If accepted it will be available for delivery at the end of the exhibit, December 2025.

This simple still life composition of glass bottles and a pitcher is a vehicle to express the peace of awakening daily to being in the right place. Each of us carries inside where we have been. Our memories and journeys comprise who we are. I enjoy suggesting those elements with trees, water and shadows. At the same time, it is pleasing to be at home and at peace with where we are now. Light through a window, light through the glass bottles and the arrival of songbirds can be a portrait of a arrival, part of our story.

Original fabrics: hand printed (monotypes, relief prints, resists and stencils) with acrylic paint on cotton muslin and sheer fabrics, collaged and stitch construction, with machine stitched details. Original photos transferred to fabric. Finishing: bound fabric-backed. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation without frame. All collaging is with archival matte acrylic medium, which also protects the surface
